From the many years of serving in the field of trekking
in the mountains of the Himalayas, it helped us to conceive
the  idea of establishing a trekking Company comprising of
a group of young, energetic and experienced youths. We realized
that the aim of establishing such a trekking company is not
only to offer its dedicated service to the tourists, trekkers
and adventure seekers but also to generate employment for
the educated unemployed youths.
Nepal Environmental Treks & Expedition is
led by a group of young, energetic and experienced youths.
They have a wide experience of travel and tour operation in
the Himalaya region. Since its establishment in 1990, the company
has become renowned with the contribution and dedication of
three different personalities in the field of event management
at home and abroad. |

| Nava Raj Dahal - Managing Director |
 His
long years of national and international experience in tourism
sector have helped him to lead his company as a Managing
Director since 1990. Born in Dhading district of Nepal, he
shifted to Kathmandu after the completion of school education.
He holds Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from
Tribhuvan University.
He is the former General Secretary of TAAN (Trekking
Agencies' Association of Nepal) and has already served
this association as one of the Executive Members. As the
General Secretary of TAAN he works in coordination with
other associations to promote tourism in Nepal.
Starting his career as an accountant in a trekking company
in 1990, he has risen from the grass root level to that
of Managing Director of his own company. He has extensively
traveled in countries like Thailand, Singapore, India,
China (Tibet), Bhutan, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France,
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This has enabled him to
extend business associations overseas and has also kept
him abreast with the innovative ways of improving tourism.
Being an ardent supporter of eco-tourism in Nepal, he
aims to help protect and preserve this beautiful environment
for future generations of trekkers to enjoy.
It is his diligence, creative thinking and uncompromising work ethics that
has earned him respect from his business fraternity as well as the clients.

Arjun Prasad Dhakal - Director |
 With
his continuous contribution and high dedication, the company
he has established an impeccable reputation both at home
and abroad. He is always concerned to offer safe, comfortable
and memorable journey to his guests.
He is originally from north part of Dhading. After completion of his school education
he joined the group in 1993 to establish this company. He has visited countries
like Singapore, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, China ( Tibet), Bhutan and many
others.He has good knowledge of various languages like Hindi,Bengali and Urdu.
His extensive knowledge on India makes him a good operator of Indian tours. He
takes pride in offering you pilgrimage tourism in Nepal.

| Ramesh Dahal -
Tour Manager |
 He
handles exclusively trekking / tours, he also administers
the indoor official activities and ticketing at our travel
company World Vision Travels & Tours. He
has been serving under this Company since its inception,
which is aimed to make available high quality services for
the ultimate satisfaction of the clients.
He observes and understands the need of each members of the group while on trail
and treats them with great care. His easy and lively temperament has made him
the favorite of most of the groups that he has led. His extensive experience
in trekking field, good command in English and his visits to countries like Belgium,
France, Germany, Holland and India gives him the extra edge in the trekking and
tours field. |

Office Staff

Most of our
staff are graduates and well versed in many foreign languages. They
all are responsible for all the logistics related to organizing
tours, hotel booking, transportation, flight ticketing and
other services. They provide quality and efficient services
to all the clients. |

| Durga Rai is the correspondent
of our company. She holds a degree in English and is efficient
and prompt in corresponding with the clients from all around
the world providing information on the various enquiries. Her
creativity and vitality lends a novel touch to our company. |

 Santoshi Kharel is a young and
vibrant office staff. A graduate in travel and tourism management
she is efficient in her duties and responsibilities.
Her pleasing personality infuses a congenial atmosphere in
the office and offers warm reception to all guests making them
feel at home. Her fluent English facilitates for better interaction
with the guests. |

All our outdoor
certified mountain guides, climbers, porters, cooks & drivers
are very professional, knowledgeable and passionate in their
respective areas. They are highly experienced and thoroughly
trained in all aspects of trekking, mountaineering expedition,
eco- tourism, wilderness first-aid and emergency evacuation.
Creating colorful and discovery-oriented adventure trips
with a combination of safety and comfort is their mission.
As they are born and brought in the trekking areas above
3,000m, they have an in-depth knowledge of indigenous wildlife
and landscape, they are able to acquaint our clients with
local customs and traditions and help them interact with
local people. Their command over English is limited to adventure-related
topics. |

| Hari Krishna Sapkota |
 (Achyuta
Nanda Sapkota) born in country side of Nepal is highly conscious
about fragile nature. He is a highly experienced guide who
has been working in the field of tourism since last 22 years.
He has led many groups to almost all trekking regions like
Everest, Annapurna, Langtang-Helambu, Dhaulagiri, Ganesh
Himal, Sky line trek etc. As a field trek escort, he always

 Mr.
Khil Bahadur Bhandari from Ganesh Himal region is one of
our excellent guides. As he was in the Nepal Army he had
the opportunity to visit many foreign countries. Physically
strong and having good nature has helped him to lead the
trekkers successfully to many trekking regions of Nepal. |

having worked as a porter. He has been to many regions which

Bahadur Ghale (Buddhist Guide)
Hailing from Annapurna region, Pancha's encyclopedic
knowledge of Buddhism, local culture and tradition is second
to none. He is a dynamic, professional mountain guide possessing
over 16 years experience in adventure tourism. He enjoys leading
treks that combines mountains, wildlife and a sense of adventure. |

Karmajit
Budamagar (Trekking Guide)
Born and brought up in far remote Tibet-like arid region
of Dolpo, Karmajit has a passion for nature, adventure and culture
since his childhood. He has unrivalled knowledge of people, culture,
tradition and landscape of the region where he was born. He is
also qualified and experienced in the field of risk management
and first aid. His knowledge on the local medicine is outstanding.
Most of our clients request Karmajit as their guide in the remote
areas trekking including Dolpo, Upper Mustang & Dhaulagiri. |

A cheerful young man involved in tourism as a trekking guide for the past 5 years. He is very friendly and
helpful and he knows a lot about trekking trails of different
trekking regions in Nepal. He has assisted several international
trekkers groups to make their treks successful and memorable. |

Among our skilled cooks Phurba Sherpa and Ram Babu Dhakal are really excellent. They are well trained. Their special feature is that they can prepare almost every kinds of food item while on trail. In fact, the meals is ever an important part of your successful trek. |

| Our porters |

Our porters and Sherpas are experienced, friendly and co-operative. We ensure that all porters and Sherpas and all other staff going above the tree line are provided with adequate clothing and equipment. We provide life insurance and emergency helicopter evacuation for our all staff. Our all porters, sherpas and cooks have attended basic training course about the preservation of environment, first aid, hygienic food, precaution of high altitude and equipments.
